Alexander Hamilton contributed to American Society in many ways he leads important attacks, he created the financial system, fixed our economy, and made the first National Bank. Without Alexander Hamilton, the United States would not be the way it is now because of the ideas and beliefs he had and especially the backgrounds he had.
One of the very first important things he did in his career was to have to lead a very important assault on Yorktown, if he wouldn’t have been the one leading the assault who knows what might have happened, when he led the assault he was a Colonel because of the hard studying and military tactics he had studied. It was a large loss for the British army because it stopped the British and it gave them the message that the 13 colonies were not gonna be taken over without a fight. It ended the illusion, hope, and effort of the British. If Hamilton wouldn’t have been the one leading the assault maybe there would be no U.S today so what he did was very important then and now.
The second important contribution he had was not something that he had done but the things he had spoken of and written that changed the way they lived back then and now. He urged that direct collection of federal taxes should be done by federal agents, then in 1781, he created the idea that non-excessive public debt was the way to go. He, later on, made the constitutional doctrine of liberal construction,” implied powers” and the general welfare,” which later were taken into account in the decisions on John Marshall. While Hamilton was in Congress as an assemblyman he reminded everyone about how Liberty was important and that everyone should have liberty.
Alexander had many achievements in his life that are very important and he was very proud of them. One of his greatest achievements was that of him becoming the Secretary of Treasury and while he was secretary of state he came up with many plans to reduce debt and fix the economy that was not doing too well yet he also made the government pay the soldiers who had fought in the Battle at Yorktown fairly, the government had not paid them for almost a year which leads to debt. This was one of his greatest achievements because he was the very first secretary of the Treasury and he helped many people and forth a lot of battles that changed history.
His second greatest achievements are affecting us right now he created the “modern financial system” and regulated, fix the economy that included farming and manufacturing he also encouraged employers to pay well which also boosted the economy up a little more. When he was running as the secretary of the Treasury, he also created the first national bank of the United States which helped to regulate the economy of the new government and gave it financial stability. After the American Revolution, he also paid off the war debts the colonies had accumulated and also stabilized the economy after paying the debt. Without Alexander Hamilton’s achievements and important contributions, life would have been very different for all the people in the colonies and Liberty would not have been considered in important decisions in the Congress. The economy and financial system would not have been made if it weren’t for him and we wouldn’t have a National Guard either because he created it.
